trading and shipping industry, earning accolades for his representation of high-
net-worth individuals and corporates spanning diverse industries such as
shipping, logistics, commodity trading, oil and gas (mid and downstream), and
manufacturing. Clients consistently applaud his problem-solving acumen and

arena.
Asutosh has proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex documents
such as CPA's, ship financing and assignment agreements, commodity sale &
purchase agreements, structured trade finance, and supply chain finance. He
brings extensive experience in navigating the intricate landscape of various
jurisdictions and spearheading cross-border transactions. Asutosh has advised
and provided meticulous guidance on the sale and purchase of ships, flag
registration, mortgage registration, freight demurrage and defence matters, P&I,
and H&M cover on behalf of ship-owners, as well as the adept handling of P&I,
H&M claims and container cargo claims, from investigation to settlement.
Before establishing his corporate practice, Asutosh worked with prominent
shipping and commodity trading conglomerates with a global presence. Since
2021, he has been providing valuable assistance and guidance to shipping and
commodity trading companies based in India, Singapore, and the Middle East.
Asutosh has also been associated with Dubai Financial Services Authority
(DFSA) regulated fund managers and fund administrators as a legal and
compliance advisor.
Asutosh graduated from Utkal University, Odisha in 2012, and furthered his
education with a post-graduation in Maritime Laws and Enforcement from the
School of Maritime Law, Indian Maritime University, Chennai campus in
2015.
